Abstract The need for braking systems has increased. widely used system is a friction brake. use of brakes problem in maintenance intervals and the risk failure due to heat generation. Research development have carried out. Eddy Current Brake (ECB) an alternative system. ECB that uses eddy currents as source force. Many parameters consider implementing ECB. There been many studies on working However, previous research researched effects by make experiments or mathematical models. This article provides analysis recent about performance parameters. From review study, it conducted better affected density magnetic flux.
